We are Jean-Noël Clot and Odette Clot-van Zijdveld, French-Dutch conscious entrepreneurs. Quinta de Religães is our “dream come true” in the rolling hills of the Douro region, just an hour drive from Porto. It spans 9 hectares of stunning nature with 3.5 hectares of vineyards flourishing in a unique microclimate shaped by the fresh waters of the nearby Paiva River.

Since 2023, we have been on a journey to create a “Modern Monastery” here – a sanctuary for inspiration, contemplation & celebration, and a place where we craft exceptional, boutique wines in harmony with nature. Our first handpicked harvest in late summer ’23 introduced us to the joy of nature’s gifts and the warm community spirit of Portugal.
