At Quinta de Religães in Northern Portugal, granite soils, Atlantic influence and the fresh flow of the Paiva River shape wines of precision and depth. Dry-farmed, hand-harvested and crafted with patience, each bottle reflects a modern interpretation of Vinho Verde – layered, gastronomic and built to age.

Our wines originate from Vinho Verde DOC – Sub-regio Paiva (Minho, Portugal)

Our vineyard

The terraced vineyards of Quinta de Religães are at 150-160 meters altitude on granite soils on the banks of the Paiva River, one of the cleanest rivers of Europe, 3,5 kilometers from the Douro. East-west, South and South-East orientation.

The Minho region in the north of Portugal, is a lush, green wine country. Imagine rolling hills, terraced vineyards, and rivers winding through historic villages.

Our climate

The Mediterranean climate is influenced by the Atlantic with rainy, mild winters, and warm summers with abundant sunshine and cool nights. The micro-climate is influenced by the nearby Paiva river, rolling hills, diverse forest, large granite stones and morning mists.

Viticulture: Dry-farmed, handpicked grapes, nurtured in harmony with nature.
